Twin Creek Acres

Twin Creek Acres is a small, independent family farm comprised of around 75 acres. We are blessed to have beautiful, rolling pastures that contain a variety of nutritious grasses and tasty alfalfa for our cattle to graze on. For this reason, our cattle are completely open range. By this we mean they are not confined to any buildings or pens. Moreover, as a small family farm, we keep lower herd numbers and practice rotational grazing to ensure our cattle get as much nutritious grass and pasture as they need. This methodology also allows the pastures to grow back to a good nutritional height before reentry by the grazing cattle.

It is important to note that throughout the pastures, there are 3 natural springs as well as a separate electric water tank (which helps to supplement water in the cooler months especially). In addition, the cattle have an open 60×30 shed to go in to get out of the wind/rain at will. Furthermore, we do not use any chemicals or herbicides on our pastures. We do feed them additional round bales of alfalfa and grass occasionally during the summer and of course during the winter. All of this is 100% grown on our farm. We do not use any outside hay or supplemental feed for our cattle to ensure their feed is all natural (and from our land) so we know exactly where their feed comes from, and more importantly, what’s in it, at all times.
